Visiting Surgery Sites during COVID 19 outbreak

IMPORTANT PATIENT NOTICE.  If you have been asked to attend the surgery for a face to face appointment please wear your own face covering for the duration of the appointment.

Oldfield Surgery site

 

Please can we ask that when visiting the surgery you do not attend with extended family members or friends unless they are children or carers, this will help us greatly with our social distancing policy.

When visiting Oldfield, the doors are open to allow patients to check in at the desk, sit on the numbered seat and the clinician will come to the waiting area to collect you.

If you have been asked to drop off a urine sample for testing please remember to write your name and date of birth on the specimen pot, there is a secure post box in the corridor for you to leave your sample for the nurse to collect and test.

St James Surgery site

 

Please can we ask that when visiting the surgery, you do not attend with extended family members or friends unless they are children or carers, this will help us greatly with our social distancing policy.

When visiting St James, the doors are open to allow patients to check in at the desk, receptionist will take your name, and advise whether to wait in your car or the waiting room.  Please follow the 2m distancing and one in one out procedure.

If you have been asked by a Clinician to drop off a urine sample for testing, please remember to write your name and date of birth on the specimen pot, enter reception as above and advise Receptionist you have a sample, they will advise you to enter and post in the post box in the downstairs patient toilet.   A nurse will collect and test and advise of appropriate course of treatment.
