FACE COVERINGS

IMPORTANT PATIENT NOTICE.

If you have been asked to attend the surgery for a face to face appointment please wear your own face covering for the duration of the appointment.

Patients do not need to wear a face covering for the following reasons.

  • You have a breathing problem or a disability that prevents you from wearing a face covering.
  • You are deaf/assisting someone who relies on lip reading to communicate
  • You are a child under the age of 11

The surgery will change £25 for a GP letter for exemption from wearing a facing covering. Alternatively you can obtain exemption cards to keep on your phone or print out from various internet organisations, ie. Asthma uk, Austim Organisations, British Lung Foundation etc, train and bus sites free of charge.
