The doctor will add the medicine you need regularly to your records as a repeat medication, which you can order when your supply is running low.
The “repeat slip” lists medicines which you are allowed to order as a repeat. The slip is attached to the prescription. Ask your community pharmacy for a copy if you require one.

At least once a year, patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a GP, Pharmacist or Nurse Practitioner to review these regular medications. This is required for the surgery to ensure your medication remains safe and effective for you. It is also an opportunity for you to discuss any concerns you may have and how to get the best outcome from taking the medication.
Notification may appear on your repeat slip. The POD may notify you.
Failure to attend a review may mean repeat medication ordering is put on hold.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
