Community Urgent Eyecare Service
The Community Urgent Eyecare Service (CUES) has been in place since May 2020 and continues to achieve the following three key aims:
- To provide urgent eyecare close to patient’s homes
- To reduce numbers of patients with urgent eyecare symptoms presenting at GPs and primary care
- To reduce numbers of patients with urgent eyecare symptoms presenting at hospital eye casualty units.
